Yes you did!! Veyr different but at the same time not. It will take you a few years to make it so it is your own. It took me four. I started off with Sonic style a bit then found Furry Art. Anthro with Anime features, more or less Sonic. Now it looks nothing like Sonic style. I wish I could just do Sonic style again. I need to CG more Sonic art topost up here. I have some on DA, but it is too old to post up on here or just looks bad.
I started drawing 2 years ago, and I started evolving into my own style later on. ^^ I'm kinda glad I moved away from it sort of, since I lacked uniqueness in my art when posted. I've seen your art as well. REALLY NICE. ^^ I'll watch yah when I figure it out. >>
